Best Wishes to the Squires...

Post by just_bassics »

There is news that last night's scheduled concert in Houston was cancelled or resheduled due to a medical situation involving Chris Squire. Word is that Chris suffered some type of blood clot and was taken to a Houston hospital. I will post any news that I hear throughout the day, but if you want the latest, my guess would be to check Yesfans website.

Needless to say, our thoughts and prayers are with the Squires and we wish Chris a speedy recovery during this important period of his life. God Bless, and, as an old sailor, I wish him Fair Winds and Following Seas. Let's all hope for the best possible outcome for Chris and his family.

These poor people can't seem to catch a break.

Our prayers go out to the entire family, especially Scotty.

Xilan in the hospital in one state, Chris in another.

Thanks for the news Jim, PLEASE keep us updated.

Man, sometimes it just seems happen like that - when it rains it pours... Our thoughts and prayers are with them all! It's been a tough time for them, they could probably use a little break. A speedy & complete revovery to both Xilan and Chris.

Wow. Hopefully Chris has no complications. I have two tickets for the Denver show in two days on Thursday (Feb. 12th), but with Dallas being canceled it doesn't look good. The most important thing right now is Chris getting through the health issue.

I just went to the Paramount Theatre (Denver) website and so far it is still on, but a blood clot sounds pretty serious.

I just checked the Paramount Theatre (Denver) website and the concert for tonight is canceled as well. I was really doubtful based on what I'd read about a blood clot. Hopefully Chris will have a good recovery. He's likely on blood thinners and has to rest.
