Well.....the plot gets thickerer and thickerer...! The fact that it's a 370 and "may" not be offered again certainly adds some intrigue. If there was a way to swing a layaway purchase, it probably wouldn't be a bad thing However, after you get your 360/12, you just may want a newer 6-string model (FWI's, matching color, etc) to be the 360/12's "twin".
But, the 370 should certainly hold it's value..... HMMMM.....

Why not do this: If you have the $ saved for the 360/12 already, hopefully it's in a savings account. Open a second savings account for a NEW 360/6. Reason - JH himself said that there will be lots of 360's shipping in March, and I'm depending on him to ship your 360/12 (Lord knows, Jim - we ALL are!). There's a very good chance that a companion 360/6 will ship also, and THAT'S the one that I'd love to see you snag. Here's my thinking:

I like owning NEW, and the shading and FWI's will match up nicer than the 370 with the drool stains that contain your DNA.

The cost for the NEW 360 won't be much more than the cost of the used 370.

The fact that the 2 guitars will match will make them Jim Krause limited editions.

Isn't this fun ?

Conniving, semi-delusional thinking, and money manipulation are three main symptoms of RAS.

Spending that extra $2 Grand on a new Rick is ALWAYS the right decision!

Trust me, I know. Wait 'til we all get our stimulus checks...

Well, in my opinion, every Rick owner needs at least ONE matching pair of Rick 6 and 12 string guitars. My matching pair is, of course, the nicely BE Maple figured 381 6 and 12 bookends in MG one can see here:

I suppose what I'm trying to say is...GO FOR THE 370 FG/6!! :D :D :D

Well, there's a quote thats certainly going to sustain itself and stand the test of time, re-enacting itself over and over again on this RRF board :!: :D

Better add that line as a post-script on that entertaining piece that Peter has posted over on the main RickResource site entitled 'Rickenbacker Addiction' :D :D
Cheers,
Rich F.
