Ok, those links didn't quite work like I thought they would.... but search on "gig" and "DCM" and you'll see what I mean.... :)

My 4003 DCM plays and sounds so nice Im finding myself playing it more and more around the house.

I realize one day these will probably fetch a tidy sum, but its too nice a bass not to play.

Im thinking of having Tony at Pickguardian make me a gold guard for it so I dont scratch up the special 75th one.

I would if I gigged. I do occassionally play it at church (the only place I currently play out of the house). I typically lean toward my 4001, though. I like the neck a little bit better (nothing wrong with the DCM neck, though).

If I owned one, i would definitly play it at home and at gigs, instruments are for made to be played, im a player not an invester, i buy them to play them, not to hide them and then sell them for profit, what a waste of a instrument, should be a law against that.

But we know you won't buy one anyway right> :D

I prchase them to play, bt it doesn't hurt that they are a good investment either. I have 5 DCM's. Two 4003's and the guitars. If the price was right I would part with one of the 4003's and I wouldn't mind making a profit. It will help fund my Philadelphia visit next July!

I am coming to a convention. I've never been to Philly. Home of the American Revolution. Has it changed much since mr. Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence. Probably not huh? I am very excited. After Philly I'm going to pop overto DC and see an old band mate. I promise... no arson while I'm there. But I make no guarantee about DC :D

I have gigged with my 4003 DCM. It's first gig was the day after I got it.

Hey Brian! The GREAT AMERICAN GUITAR SHOW is in Valley Forge (a Philly suburb) on July 11th & 12th, if you're nearby.

Pick of The Ricks always has lots of great guitars on display for sale and trade, and last year Olivia's showed up, too.

If your schedule permits, it's well worth attending.

Hey Mike, do you still have that 4003 DCM?

Brian, why would you ever want to go to Philly? :?

It's good to see a lot of the old timers still on the forum. :D
