Where To Find A 4004....??

Post by spongebob »

I have been searching for a 4004 Cheyenne/Laredo in Maple Glow or maybe natural.

I can't believe it's so hard. E-bay is stuffed full of 4001/03's (I've already got 2 03's!), but there is a real lack of 04's.

To make things worse, I'm in the UK. Dealer network is pretty non-existent, and every US shop I try either hasn't got any (they tell me), and then inform me that they won't ship over here anyway! That's always been a major pain. The few UK places that did reply told me about a near-$4300 price tag - that they said will rise over the 2.5 year plus waiting time!

I was going to post in the wanted section, but I thought I'd post here first to see if anyone has any ideas?

I'm not too fussed about new or used, just after a good one in the right colour!

D'oh, nevermind. Was going to suggest Pick of the Ricks.

I've seen one advertised in the UK for £1395.

There are two Cheyennes in MG here:

Maybe the dealer won't ship to you, but there are US dealers that have them in stock. That's a starting point.

Well, it doesnt for the OP. Posting links to American stores is not very helpfull for the orginal poster as these stores are not allowed to sell to him.

Riiighhtt. Sorry, forgot about that detail.

Just trying to be helpful.

Seems like there ought to be a way around that little detail.

Pick Of the Ricks has a mapleglow 4004Cii in stock right now. I had it in my hands as I couldn't decide between it and a FG version...the FG won!
