I had a FGV63. Every time I opened the case I was shocked at how beautiful she was but the relationship was doomed. She just was not what I really wanted in a Rickenbacker bass. Kinda like the beautiful cheerleader I married 30 years ago. The relationship was doomed.......Your MG is another beauty.........Guess we are lucky we can let them go. Did you do that 4004 single coil mod yet ?

i like the v63 quite a lot,but not as much as my 4000,and my cii,and i ultimately had to sell one of the 3,so,bye-bye,v63! tony may appreciate that i spent home renovation funds,and unfortunately was unable to replace them in a timely manner. i have not had the mod done to my cii yet,i have to schlep it to midtown soon...and yes the v is sold.....waiting to ship....
