Both are stunning, but I like the wider flame of #1.
Win-win, IMO!

Yeah, I was really torn between the two. Ultimately, I took the word of someone looking at them in person. Sometimes it's difficult to tell what something looks like from pictures. I just hope his opinion of what looks great matches with mine!

I guess the voting is over. (#1) But what a great position to be in. Having choices between basses is pretty rare these days. :)

It'll be a big brown truck, it'd be a 750 mile drive to pick it up (each way)! Hey, I just figured out Wildwood is actually my "local" dealer! I thought it was Old Boise Guitars in Idaho, but they're 840 miles. Wow, 90 miles closer! That's almost as far as I have to go to get to a town that has a Wal-Mart (for whatever that's worth...).

Actually, they shipped it out yesterday and guess what? It's scheduled to arrive TOMORROW!!!

Oops, I almost forgot, more pictures! Here's all I have so far:

Probably not, but we'll have to see how my excitement level is tomorrow. In some ways I'm less excited about this one than I was for the 4003, 'cause I haven't been waiting 23 months. But, I know what this one looks like and it's a whole new model type, so in that respect, I'm more excited!

As for whining, well, I don't think I've been too whiny, but wining and dining, well I'm always up for that! In fact, we just got our new wine sampler shipment today! And then, around here there's often a fair amount of whinnying!!!
