My "New" New Ukulele!

Finally got my "old"new uke ,the one that was autographed by Timy Tim and given to one of the DJ's at WCLO (Ohio) in 1988 when he visited the station to promote his new record "Leave Me Satisfied".

Got a Harmony ukulele for $25 at Music-Go-Round.Check out the plastic fretboard and faux flame finish.

My Mom bought this in 1954. She stopped playing it in 1955 and put it in the case and forgot about it. I have no idea what brand it is or why it is stringed the way it is. I have not changed anything.

Wow!That is beautiful,a real museum piece.I love the white plastic fretboard and the "Hawaiian" graphics.It was probably made by Harmony.Ukulele was very popular in the early 50's because of the popularity of Arthur Godfrey's TV show.
