There about 4 or 5 fires still burning that have the fire authorities worried. The death toll is now 201. The biggest problem facing the survivors is finding somewhere to live, as they can't all stay in tent cities for too much longer. Melbourne is still covered with a mist of smoke. We are now seeing live footage of the fires from survivors own video cameras, and it is truly frightening. Towns were literally wiped off the map.
Well over $150 million has been raised and is being handed out to help victims.
Nearly all of the Victorian forum members live nowhere near the fires, but the thoughts and wishes from everyone in here is greatly appreciated.
