The sad fact is that many did see the Fanny/Freddie trainwreck coming and were trying to sound alarms.

To put my point in a less specific (and hopefully, therefore, less provocative) way: big media is certainly guilty much of the time of what some might call "manufacturing consent"...

(...and thanks for pointing out that 'blue line' again, Peter...I don't want to draw another 'icing the puck' penalty...)

Thanks Dane. You are right. Ignoring your position vis-a-vis the blue line could increase face offs in your end more often. I also both appreciate and admire your stick handling.
