Stringing a 730S 12-string

So how do you string a Rick acoustic? Do you string it the same way as you would a Rick electric 12-string (I believe reversing the position of the octave strings on the first/lower four) or do you string it as you would any other 12-string acoustic (not that it's just any other 12-string acoustic)?

When I bought mine it was strung just like any other acoustic 12-string and was wondering if this what I should have. If there already is a thread dedicated to this topic please direct me to it.

The acoustics should be strung up just like any other 12 string Rick, except for the Suzi Arden 360/12, so yours seems to be backwards at the moment.

I would string it just like a Rick electric 12. The octaves below the standard strings.

Ah what do you know about Rickenbacker acoustics?

I would string it however the nut is cut for it. If it's stock, it should be like any Rick 12 electric.

Well, I never played an acoustic 12-string in the Ric arrangement, but I own a couple of great Guild 12-strings. I just think an acoustic 12-string should be strung the traditional way. There would be more bell-like snap to those acoustic pairs, with the octave string on top. I believe it would bring about the most in the instrument. You can get a new bone nut made for about $75. Certainly worth a try for such an expensive instrument.

Well I suppose you could alternate the pairings,

but I think you're probably talking about nashville tuning.
