What are people thinking???

Post by tallpat1 »

1977 4001MG buy now $4299.00 what!! are they crazy?? that is a lot of $$ for a 1977 rick I don't care what shape its in. I could search and fing a CS for that maybe I can understand a CS costing that much or a 4004 Lemmy but not a run of the mill MG. I am wrong thinking this? I look at a lot of Rics on Ebay nothing close.

They say it's all original...What a friggin joke!
No pup cover, non original selector switch...non original knobs and a huge gash on the front of the body.
They would be lucky to get $1000 for it.

Well, it may be way over priced and have non original parts, but at least his shipping price adds insult to injury.

Just because someone asks that much for a minimum bid doesn't mean they'll get it.

Wow! I have 4 late 70's 4001's, all of which are in better shape than this one. This means that in total, my late 70's 4001's are valued at $20,0000 at least.

I'd better call up my insurance provider and up my policy!

Do you insure your basses through your home owner's or through a separate plan?
