Re: Be prepared to flip out!!!
well,i'm with robassplayer-a 57 4000 reissue would make me write bad checks.......
Re: Be prepared to flip out!!!
A V57 or V68 would indeed make me flip out.
*damn, this is all I need....*

Re: Be prepared to flip out!!!
Edit: that pallet of 4002's would be flipout worthy, too.
Re: Be prepared to flip out!!!
Hmm, a V68 "could" flip me out unless it has a big neck.
That would be more frustrating than exciting to me.

IMHO, a re-issue of the 1987 4003S in Ruby would trump all others!

Re: Be prepared to flip out!!!
I'd love to see the 4000 or 4002 make a comeback, but I don't think I'd get too excited over a reissue of any of the 4001s. The 4003s they're pumping out right now are great already.
Re: Be prepared to flip out!!!
My guess is a short scale bass based on the 330 or 325.
Or a stripped-down version of the 4002, without birdseye, plain binding, HB pickups and standard colors. Basically a 4003 with Fender J pickups layout, and perhaps the fabled new bridge.

I'm hopeful of a V57. I remember posting about that a couple of years ago on the Ric Corporate forum.

Not do douse the excitement, but Ben's comments could also be taken the other way. Discontinuing the 4004 series would cause a collective 'flip out' as well.

Re: Be prepared to flip out!!!
I assure you, there are no plans to discontinue the 4004's.
Re: Be prepared to flip out!!!
How about a reissue of the Rose Morris 1999? That's the only logical explination I could see to replacing the C64...

I would go for that - a flipped over headstock C64.JakeK wrote:How about a reissue of the Rose Morris 1999? That's the only logical explination I could see to replacing the C64...

Kind of like a V63?godber wrote:I would go for that - a flipped over headstock C64.JakeK wrote:How about a reissue of the Rose Morris 1999? That's the only logical explination I could see to replacing the C64...

Pre '97 long headstock, whoah yes.
