It's possible. Ask him if he has the handrest, black ones are almost impossible to find.beatlefan wrote:anyone think he'll get the BIN?

He bought it from Olivia a while ago: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0281103183
I am not sure how will he make any profit from it for that price, if only 1 person bids it means a loss of $500. Something doesn't smell too good here...

So long and thanks for all the fish!

Here is an apparent one-off Shadow. Are there others?
Re: Model of the Week 14: The Shadow knows
I played a Shadow a couple of weeks ago, and it was probably the best bass I've played that's post 1973. Great thin neck and feel. The 4002 that I also sampled, although a great looking bass, felt club like and cumbersome in comparison.
No question which I'd rather own from a playing perspective.

Re: Model of the Week 14: The Shadow knows
I played my Shadow today, it still amazes me how low I can get the action, it's like a "fretless wonder" Les Paul...
You can have a run-of-the mill 80's 4003 modified to look like this, but for it to look like a real Shadow you'd have to replace the fretboard.
IIRC when this bass was on eBay John Hall posted that it's not officially a Shadow.rickfan60 wrote:Here is an apparent one-off Shadow. Are there others?
