This is one of the prettiest 4003's I've ever seen. The vintage look is nailed---gorgeous. I love the p/g on this, and the horseshoe---it goes without saying.

Thanks, Andrew! :D To really nail the vintage look it should have checker binding, but that would require a much more invasive surgery than anything I have done with the 4003. At some point in the future I will cut the gap in the middle 'tooth' of the tailpiece.

Hi Jeffrey,

your mods on this recent make(Pickguard, Toaster, HS,...?) are the only way I can sympathize with a JG 4003.
