and the '79 4001V63. This is how I look when forced to smile at gunpoint:

Wow, those are two majestic looking instruments. I prefer the first bass but the second Mark. :)

Thanks, Greg. Not sure if it's obvious in the pics, but the TRCs are chrome, too.

Sweet looking basses, Jaymi! Love the black-bordered CB binding on that Shadow! Shame it's not still in your possession.

The white '74 looks like it has the potential to be a '4001CS Deluxe.' What are you planning to do to it?

Okay, it's been a long time since I've posted a pic of me "playing", so here is the birthday boy channeling the SERF confluence:

Hey Ronn that is a really cool thing you guys did for those kids. Nice work! BTW your Union Jack is upside-down.

I sold the TRC and the horseshoe is on ebay. I am sending the rest to Jeff Hoyt in exchange for another RIc...the neck is not the right profile for me...

Nice glasses John! A plexi truss rod cover would finish out that bass nicely.

Haha, thanks! Present from my Godson. Plexi would be great, but I already have a LOT tied up in this bass. Who knows what the future would bring though.
