Mark, great driver’s license smile… I have always liked that Harleybass (’79 V63) the fretless is sweet looking too.

Jaymi – both are sweet looking. So you like the thicker neck? Will you post pictures when the replacement arrives?

John – that bass looks great and the eyewear isn’t too bad either… What year is the bass?

Thanks Tom, that's my Darren look! The bass is my 2004 4003 retro'd. As Dane W pointed out in another thread, it needs a plexi TRC. Maybe someday... I think it also needs CB and walnut wings. I like the material of the inlays, even though they are not FW.

I sure will....I like thicker necks...the white one is cool but not really my speed...I like the medium kinda necks...my FG has a round medium neck and it smokes!!!! The bass that is coming is Walnut...I don't like Walnut but we'll see, it was made a month before my FG...if not, it will be for sale for something black or BG....

Neat! My jazz trio just played the local cafe called Coffee Ethic. We packed that place out! (It's really nice that it's adjacent to the public library so people can hear you and trickle in.) I think we might have picked up a new weekly gig.

here is another of me playing my '77 ric in Tampa. Last gig I brought it, and during sound check it developed a short, so I played my Aerodyne. Next gig should be the ric again, 3 weeks.
