Custom 381v69?

Post by TheFountainHead »

Does anyone know if this 381: http://rickresource.com/register/viewitem.php?id=3645 was just a one-off, or was there a few more made with this pickup spacing? I'm curious how the bridge pickup would sound solo'd, as i'm sure it'd be noticeably less bright then the standard ric bridge sound.

Good eye Brian!!

That isn't just a little off!! That's a huge gap. The space between the pickups looks about the same as on a modern 24 fret Ric.
Strange one...

It was a custom ordered 'one off'.
