JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!
Re: Chris Squire hospitalized
I am glad that Chris is expected to make a full recovery. Get well Chris!
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Currently, all is well and they should be picking up where they left off soon enough!

Re: Chris Squire hospitalized
He wasn't always a big guy! I am struck by old videos of him.
When I met him in person he was very polite--and this was last year. You'd think by now you'd be totally jaded...! Props, Chris!!

Well, he was always a tall guy...if he'd have been a young man in the early '60's 'over here', they'd have ripped that bass out of his hands, given him a crew cut and shoved him out onto the basketball court. Not that they didn't try to control him 'over there' (from the Wikipedia biography):
"In 1964, he was suspended from school for "having long hair", and given money to get a haircut. Instead he went home, used the money for other things, and never returned to school." Right on! Then there's this:
"Squire was fond of experimenting with LSD in the 1960s, until an incident where he had a bad acid trip. He recalls that he spent months inside his girlfriend's apartment, afraid to leave, and it was during this time that he developed his style in the bass." Hey, whatever works, y'know?
Happy birthday, Fish, and feel better soon...from another 4001-playing Pisces (who enjoys an occasional nice long - what we used to refer to nostalgically in Antarctica - "Hollywood shower"...)

I didn't get where I am today by being on time...

Hollywood Shower!
Must be a Pisces thing. I replaced our 40 gal. hot water heater with a 50 gal. one.
I've always been accused of taking too-long showers, but it just feels right.
Re: Chris Squire hospitalized
Hm. I prefer my showers just below the boiling point. My wife thinks I'm crazy.

So's my two daughters, especially the oldest. I always have to remember to turn it colder before firing up the shower when following her.s4001 wrote:Hm. I prefer my showers just below the boiling point. My wife thinks I'm crazy.
