When I bought this one, everyone hated the color. 23 years later I like it even more.....

Yeah, where have you and all those beauties been hiding?
A warm welcome to the Forum.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Now Ted, we have rules here. When you join the forum, and you own so many beauties, you must offer a few of them for sale to us a much less than market value.

At first it's depressing to part with prized instruments but, then it turns into glee when you realize your new found friends enjoy them so much(unless they're converting them into five stringers!yipes!)

Seriously, congratulations on your collection. It looks cool as heck, and heck is a cool place to be!

My Black Star is #104. I don't play as much as I did 10 years ago but my collection gives me pleasure. Thanks for lettiing me share them with you. There are a few more if you would like to see them.

It is heavy, akward, difficult to play, but very cool to look at....

Here is an odd one. I bought it for $550 when it was a little over a year old. 1979 Walnutglo 4002. The badass was in 1981 done by a very gifted luthier. No permanent modifications were made. The original tailpiece can be reinstalled by removing the maple from the mute well.

Nice 4080 too...

..What other delights have you got to show us Ted, or is that them all?
