Then it's my turn....
......a demonstration on repairing a fingerboard/neck separation

I open the wound....
CIMG2643.JPG
Apply some Tightbond wood glue...
CIMG2640.JPG
Then I make sure the glue gets down
into the separated area using an index card
CIMG2644.JPG
I place the clamping blocks on both sides of the neck...
CIMG2653.JPG
Notice the top block is notched for the frets.

I then complete the procedure using C-clamps...

CIMG2656.JPG
The excess glue that is squeezed out
can be easily removed using a damp cloth...

Then let it set overnight.

With all of the informative clinics taking place, Graham felt a little left out.
So he decided to teach us all the correct way to drink beer!

I took a few pics. Here were a few of my favorites:

Jason's double neck...

I liked the Byrds 12 string...

Both these were cool. I especially like Jason's '56 Combo 400. What a great guitar to play...

Again, it was great to meet all the new faces, who were old names!

Thanks again to the Dog and TC who really made it possible, and all those who attended to make it the fun time it was. :D

Thanks ever so much for all the pictures. Rub it in what we missed!

Joey, so you suspend the bass like that and then tighten the truss nuts?

Steve, how do you keep the glue out of the truss rod channel?

That trans-green Cii is really beautiful.
