While sorting through a pile of CD's I came across the 1993 album 'Heat' by Jimmy Barnes, pictured with a Rickenbacker. Anyone know of Barnes history and if Ric's have played apart in it.

Barnes isn't noted as a guitarist... I can't think of too many times I've even seen him playing one. He was the lead vocalist for seminal Aussie pub band "Cold Chisel" in the 70s and early 80s before having a solo career that would have peaked by the early 90s. He's still around today - and Cold Chisel have even reformed a few times for some raucous shows. Look them up on the Web for more.
