Suggestions for refretting

I have this cool looking Ampeg little stud reined a checkerboard. I love playing the thing but it needs a refret. as it's not a valuable bass, I don't want to spend to much.

Anyone know someone in the NYC area who won't kill me to do it.

Any leads appreciated. Thanks!
