What strings do you recommend for a 4004?

Post by guitfiddle »

I have a stock '06 4004L and am currently using GHS Boomers at the 95-75-55-40 gauges. Back then these were the suggested nickel gauges in the Care & Maintenance Guide. This year's Guide says to use 105-75-55-45 nickel strings. What are most of you 4004 players using for strings these days? Did they require any neck adjustment?
