There's absolutely nothing wrong with the instrument... I dunno. I'm just vexed.

Stick with it for a bit Alisha. Due to some significant differences between guitar and mandolin, there's a bit of a learning curve. But hey, if you're still "vexed" after a while, I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding it a new home.
