Well, now that the mandolins are shipping, maybe the 360/12 FG's will be next! Who woulda thought....?

I'll pile on for a post- Easter delivery, too. (But before Memorial Day!)

I completely forgot about those mandolins. And here I thought it was just the 4003 basses that were clogging up the works.

(Methinks I'd rather put some sort of after market pickup on an acoustic mandolin)

Let me just say that waiting 2 years was very worth it for me.

You ought to be getting The Call about your 4003 any day now. They've been crankin' out a lot of 'em so it seems.

Hey Jerry !

That's great news - I hope it's yours. I gave up waiting for AMS last Fall - I had them ship me a 360MG, which they had in stock at the time, and traded it - unopened - to another dealer who had just received a 370FG. A little more money, but at least the wait was over, and the MG was sold pretty quickly, so everyone won.

Keep us posted; I would bet that they were sent more than one, so your odds are probably pretty good - apparently it's "360 time" in the production schedule.

Now, if they would only send JK his 360/12 FG......!

Bob, this has I think, gotten to be something of a local joke among my guitar playing friends. I got some friendly ribbing about the wait last Sunday. I'm even starting to have dreams about the guitar's arrival.

Last night for instance I dreamed that there was this huge wooden shipping crate on our front porch. I opened it, only to find an antique steel kitchen cabinet and sink combination. In my dream I was quite disappointed, to say the least.
All this could have something to do with looking at the shipping list over at corporate.

Um, yeah, something along those lines.

Would you wait years for a Honda Civic if the car dealership down the street had five in stock? Must be one hell of a good price.

We discontinued the steel kitchen cabinet and sink combo a long time ago...Can't imagine why you'd dream of one. :D

Yeah Jason, it is. And you've been a member of the Forum long enough that I don't think I need to bother the rest of the good folks with a recitation of my experiences, logic, motivation, reasoning, etc. You can read all about it in the earlier pages of this thread.

And take a look at this one.

It has all been said.
