Re: Johnny Marr talks technique
Mr. Marr talks about an obsession with a record, Bo Diddley, and then the drive ensued. Mr. Marr, Mr. Buck, Mr. Ronson, Mr. Page, Mr. Nugent and Mr. Frehley, I know that obsession! It hasn't come close to stopping...

Am I the only one who gets frustrated that I cannot play the way he does? It's depressing for me.

I bet he can't play like you, Brett!btomlinson wrote:Am I the only one who gets frustrated that I cannot play the way he does? It's depressing for me.

Re: Johnny Marr talks technique
Jeffrey,
That was very kind. Thank you.
I am not copying Marr but I have played guitar for a long time (25 years). I have the Rickenbackers and the Twin. I bought my 71 Twin in 1990 after seeing the guitar player from Pylon (he just passed away) play live in Philadelphia. It helped that Peter Buck played through one for many yares as well.
I play okay, I cannot complain I guess.
