That auction went a lot higher than I had expected. I am a sucker for checker board binding. What can I say. The bass is really quite perfect. I have always gone for the odd and different Ricks. Thank you Gary Clauson for your kind words above. Your old FG sounds great.

Hey Ted-I know how you feel about that hypnotic checkerboard binding!

Doesn't your 4002 have a checkerbound headstock?

You don't know the POWER of the dark/white/dark side.

You must obey!

The binding on the 4002 headstock is very thin and plain black.
