Im not sure yet, the guitar is on the way, was missing the truss nuts It may need a whole truss system installed and adjustments?
wheres and whos POTR?
Re: Rickenbacker tech 12 string
Chris can certainly do that. POTR is Pick Of The Ricks in Lindenwold, New Jersey, not too far from Philadelphia.

Re: Rickenbacker tech 12 string
well I got here strung and she bowlegged (more on the bass side) so I slowly tightened the truss rods back up and heated up the neck with a hairdryer and left it setting with some weight on the neck hopefully it will straighten out...if not I guess it will be going to a pro..
I think its been without tension for way too long

"Slowly tightening the truss rods" is done over days, not in one sitting a bit at a time. Ease 'em off a bit and get the weight off it. Check it in a few days, tighten a bit more, wait, check again, repeat as necessary.
You're rushing it this way...

Re: Rickenbacker tech 12 string
I think Im going to take it to a luthier here in town and get him to do it Im scared Im going to pop the finger board off goofing around...
I detuned it and left it alone.
I really dont want to ship this guitar because I dont have a hard case, but I may have to end up sending it to a Rickenbacker repairman.
