For all those following little Xilan's progress, she is doing very well on this special day, of course, the day she was to have met the world. We all know that she decided to arrive much earlier! Today we celebrate as she turns "0" :D

Well the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray.... it's been my experience that they come when the want too... Thanks for the update Jim, and happy 'was supposed to be here' day to Xilan.

I'm very happy to report that Xilan's long hospital stay came to an end yesterday when she went home with her proud parents for the first time. There is still a lot of close care to be given, as there would be with any "newborn" but the daily hospital treks are over and the happy family can begin to get some sense of normal routine with their daughter home with them, where she belongs. This little girl is a serious fighter and I can only begin to guess at the adventures that life has in store for her and her parents. The Squires are very grateful for all of your prayers and support.

This IS great news, and has to be a major relief to Chris and Scotty for both the obvious and what it implies about Xilan. Best wishes to them all as they finally have a chance to experience the familial bonding in their home. Great news!
