New Vox Modelling amps?

Post by wormdiet »

I was flipping through an Elderly catalog last night and noticed that Vox is coming out with 30 and 15 watt versions of the AD 120 modelling amp. Has anybody had any experience with these? If they sound decent they might make the perfect bedroom/apartment/coffeehouse amp. The 30 watter sounds like a better deal b/c it has a ten inch speaker; the 15 watter is on 8" I believe.

Try www.voxtalks.com there are a few good threads on there about these amps.

I own a 'Vox Cambridge 30 RT', (not one of those new modelling models), and it´s awesome. As I only use it at home, I can say to all that is a perfect bedroom / practice amp. Great, great tone and very sweet sounding if you want it to.

The Plexipalace Vox forum is a good place to get technical answers to questions on Vox amps.
