I also get an error message "This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage."

I happened to reply to an e-mail of his last night and sent along this message to him...
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

Last I heard he was having medical issues so you may not hear from him right away. I'm pretty sure he is okay though.

Joey said a few days ago, the website needs a new host. FWIW.

My website may need a new host. I had a good thing going with a friend at work...friend got married, new wife ruins good thing.
Now I can get a much better deal elsewhere, like GoDaddy or 1&1. I'll wait a bit to see if they come to reality before I transfer the site elsewhere.

It's perfect timing for Dr. Staberow's Rickenbacker bass anatomy threads! :D
I can always email a copy of a wiring PDF if anyone needs one.

Maybe (if Dr. Staberow agrees) you could host his Anatomy series on your notes site? That'd make an already great repository even greater. :)

Joshua: That would be fine with me, but that would be up to Ted. Besides, he might have already have an agreement worked out with Paul Boyer for his Rickenbacker bass book.

Kira: Thank you!

Hi everyone...new here,

I had bought a 4003 Ric recently and finally decided the other day to take off the pickup cover. I had bookmarked Joey's website last month in my interweb travels and tried to go there for the instructions I saw to do this, and...its down! :(

I found a PDF diagram of the assembly and could probably pull it off myself, but was kind of relying on falling back on the step by step I saw on Joey's site...Joey if you are ready this (and are able) let me know when your site will be up or how to get the step by steps (I dont want to sound pushy...I just was mulling this over since I got the bass and I finally decided to pull the trigger, and Im not the most handy fella out there)

THanks~

John, let me see what I can do for you when I get home from work. For now, Ted's Rickenbacker bass anatomy threads should also help you through your setups and adjustments. Feel free to post you questions here. Start your own thread if you wish. Several of us will be very willing and able to help and guide you.

Morrow, thanks for the kind words.
