Well, we are at a grand total of 381 at the 24-hour mark of this thread. Not bad. Obviously, we can go higher and we shall! Thanks to one and all for participating. Ciao for now.......Goofyfoot

Hmmm, good question. I've never ordered a Ric through a dealer. Believe most ask for a deposit to hold the order with payment in full at time the dealer takes delivery. To keep things simple, I think we should count only the ones in our possession. Your thoughts, simer4001? Ciao for now.......Goofyfoot.
I think the count should only include what is on hand, as an instrument on order is only a future possession.

No, I don't think we should. I think I misread an earlier post. I think Craig was counting an ebay purchase that is on it's way. I originally thought it was a bass on order. But, this is your idea and I think you should make the rules.

simer4001.......I think you, jps, and I are on the same page. We should limit it to stock in our possession. Now, in wittyair's case, he bought a one-off bass apparently from RIC on eBay. If I hear you correctly, we should be able to count it. Any guitars and basses on order from an authorized dealer that haven't been delivered from RIC to said dealer to customer ought NOT to be counted. Hope this clarifies things. Thanks to both of you for your input. The process has been running quite smoothly. Props to all of us! Peace, out.......Goofyfoot.
