1000K pots

Has anyone ever tried 1000K pots on any guitar or bass? I was just wondering how much high end would be added, or if it would be insignificant.

Jeff Rath puts 1M pots (1000k) on HB1 pickups to brighten the tone. Google his past here for more.

yes they will brighten the tone, but depending on what pickups you do this with, the tone can be harsh.

Thanks guys. I will look for Jeff's post and read up on the replies. BTW, I want to try them on a semi-hollow with a DarkStar.
