I had a visit this evening by Gil and his wife, Kareene. I wish we had all day but, alas, we only had a few short hours to cram everything into!

As a gesture of good samaritanism I gave this to Gil....

He played all my Ricks and the Gretsch and the Zon and the Rick Turner and the Höfner! He said this was the first time he ever saw one (the Höfner) in person. We discussed photography and I showed Gil a bit of how to use a view camera. Busy evening. Time to sleep.

Hey guys.
Meeting Jeff and Sherri was really great and both Kareene and I had such a great time.
We originally planned on being there for an hour as we had a 3.5 hours drive back to Michigan and we arrived to Jeff's at around 18:30, we stayed for almost 3 hours and got back to Milford at 1am
I wish we had more time

Jeff and I already agreed that we'll try to arrange a confluence on our next visit to Michigan (actually - it was Sherri's idea! )
