Thanks for the explanation! Now I was thinking, even if it does look funny, that could be a nice way to bring it closer to the strings if the volume does not quite match with the high gain on the bridge... right? I would think two screws would very well hold it in place...

Nice Rick Army btw! I didn't know that the new full-width inlays were not new at all... funny thing.

This has been bugging me ever since I realized I had done it.
I'll just say that I was so goofy over the gorgeous new FG that I forgot proper English.

One more; comparing 1971 and 2009 Fireglos.
I wonder how close they'll be after 38 more years? :)

Here's a comparison (also posted on a 4001C64 thread) of two 4001C64 FG models, one made in 2005 (lighter) and the other in 2006 (darker). What a difference one year makes!

Which FG do you prefer?
