Gil, is Milford as "out-in-the-sticks" as the map makes it look? I'm 2hr 15min away.

I wouldn't say "in the sticks" but it's not the burbs proper either.

Milford is smallish but it's quite nice out there, IMO.

John: Not really, it is actually a really nice town, 1 hour from Detroit, 20 minutes from Novi.
CJ: Thanks, I'd love a horse, will it fit in my luggage? will I have to pay overweight? :)

Tomorrow Kareene and I are flying back home after 2 tranquil weeks, getting back to work and to the real life...
Thanks for the safe trip wishes guys :)

Where's home, Gil? I had noticed you were looking for work in the States a while back but haven't seen an update (likely through my lack of looking).

The Detroit area is hurting for good IT folks. If you have any project management experience, you might can find work doing that as well. I know when I left as a contractor to IBM as a PM a few years ago, PMs were making $55-220K in this market.

Obviously, the high end would require certs from PMI most likely but that could buy a lot of Ric fetish for ya. :D

It might be something to think about despite the "horror" of living in the Detroit area--which I think is overblown by everyone, even those living here.

But I'm probably jaded to other areas. I'm a transplant here and love it. Go figure.

Regardless, have a safe trip home.

I've got a couple that would probably fit, you don't even have to feed those, but they're not much for riding...

Well, have a good safe flight across the pond...

Way to go Jeff... keeping the Grad Facilitator linked to us mere mortals with offerings of food and instruments! Did you Din Sum of do the home cooked thing? I think this is one of the coolest parts of this Forum... the national/international personal hookups that happen. Maybe getting parts or an AX for someone you have never meet. Or maybe minding their project in your back yard or dinner and what not... this is truly cool!
