I am trying to finish up a fairly banal paper on an iron (ferroin complex) assay I did last week and it's just not happening. Why I shared this here? I dunno, but I had to let out the pain. I hate writer's block.

Just start writing; even if your initial text is awful, the process will get the wheels turning in your brain to write something better, and when you edit your initial text in the hopes of salvaging some useful bits, the editing process should help you produce and complete a more useful, however banal, text.
