Thanks Jeffrey! I'm all about the FG. Maybe someday I'll hit the proverbial motherlode, and score either a FGV63 or a C64, but in this economy, it'll have to wait.

To answer Tom's question, my rig isn't much. Right now, I'm just playing through a Fender Bassman 60. Though I have to say that it gives me a deep, rich sound, so no complaints here. Maybe someday, I'll get something a little more powerful, but that'll have to wait, too.

A photographer buddy of mine Randy Drake has excellent taste in basses, as you'll see in this photo from his portfolio:

It looks like she plays "wireless"!?
 Did she break a finger??? Her face screams: "Outch!!!" :?
(Not everybody can hold/play a Rick bass, I guess.)

This is me palying with Assi Geffen live on the Israeli music channel. It's a see-thru TV studio they set up in the Tel Aviv harbor.

You know how TV directors always focus on the guitar and you hardly get a glimpse of the bass? Well this is NOT the case here... I think he liked the white Ric...

Ric close-ups at 2:12 and 3:02, extreme toaster close up at 4:42...

Very cool, Ilan! Great sounding band; impressive for being just a three-piece. And what a great venue! That must have been a blast to play. And the Rick sounded awesome, of course.

Ilan, very cool indeed! You all sound good – the bass tone is killer! And bass close-ups – what a rarity. Probably because the Ric is such a stud-ly instrument!! And let’s face it – it was being played so well…. Neat site, loved the waves in some of the shots.

That's a cool pic, but I would have liked to see what she looked like if she didn't seem to be in pain.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)
