The Searchers' Rickenbackers

Post by admin »

There are a number of photos of the Searchers' Rickenbackers, and comments from Frank Allen about why they enjoy these instruments, on the Rickenbacker Registration Page. Special thanks to Frank Allen, The Searchers and Wendy Burton for this interesting information.

By the way, it is so nice to see John McNally using a Model 620 Jetglo Rickenbacker. This instrument has great sustain and really adds to the mix. Nothing against his tele, just nice to hear the sustained ringing of a solid-body Rickenbacker 12 string.

Interesting...

"Spencer James does not use a Rickenbacker on stage at all, but he keeps a 12-string in his recording studio. It is a 620/12 Limited Edition, with all the hardware finished in black."
