I MADE IT!!!!!!

After months of waiting and hoping, I finally got some light at the end of the tunnel. I just interviewed via phone with three faculty members at Colorado University, and I will be joining their Ph.D. program this fall! They have made me a financial offer which is apparently being express mailed today.

If you guys want any more details you can PM me... I don't want to bore anyone. Basically I'm just REALLY excited to get into a Ph.D. program at such a highly competitive time (people are flooding back to school from the chemical industry due to the market and there are plenty of fresh chemistry grads to contend with).

And, I must admit, plenty of you science-inclined folks here have kept me engaged even while perusing these forums. Thanks for keeping me sharp!

Welcome to the 'hood! I'm not very far from Boulder. I actually got my electrical engineering bachelor of science degree at CU-Denver after taking night classes for many years (10+). My closest CU-Boulder experiences have been taking trombone lessons there around 2000-2001 and attending football games.
