Shameless self-promotion

Post by ram »

Well there is a CD out, ‘TCP – The way’ on 10T Records. I appear on two tracks – posted somewhere here before (You Can Never Know & Heavy Billy). As far as I know that is the only Ric content. The guy who spearheaded the effort (Blake) has a neat little web site:
http://www.temporalchaos.com/html/stores.html
go here and click pop-up player to listen to tunes from the project
http://www.temporalchaos.com/html/music2.html

I think 10T is the only place it is available for right now. But other avenues in the works. Not a bad little colab, if I do say so myself....

Self indulgence session over now – Thanks!

Hey Tom -

Glad to see an offering from the QK camp! It's been quite a dry spell around these parts for awhile. Haven't heard from the usual heavyweights like Mark Kaufman or Kira Moon in ages. I should talk. I haven't been very productive lately, either.

I checked out the TCP project sampler. Recognized a lot of your guitarist's work. I'm still a little hazy on the details - are 'Heavy Billy' and 'You Can Never Know' the only tunes you are on? There's lots of great prog stuff on this sampler. I like the tunes I heard with the big distorted bass chords. Go figure, coming from me.

Hey, Tom, best of luck with the project, it sounds great so far.

Yeah, Mark, I miss you too. It's been a Winter full of under the weather for me, but I'll be rallying the troops again soon. I think Mark K must be exhausted after February's project  Good thing we have Tom holding down the fort.

Thanks Kira & Mark… yeah I’m having to dig into the RRF archives (bookmarked artist web sites) for my during work fixes music. Common folks let’s get at it!!!!

The Q-kids have had a string of health issues – colds/flues, B12 deficiencies, and now the skin whacker cracked his head open… so the next QK project is in a delay mode. At least we got the gig off last month. When we get back into shape there are some interesting Quantum Kids things coming someday.

Yeah Mark, those are the only two I am on. I came in late and didn’t really have enough time to do what I’d consider a good job so … I think there will be more Ric-tones in the next offering. I like what was done with the tunes on the CD – reminds me of Peter Gabriel flavored type stuff. I think worth a listen for anyone into prog – was doing well in Germany I’m told.
