Question for 700/730 Owners

Post by wmthor »

Have you ever run your acoustic through a pedal such as a reverb pedal, JangleBox, etc?

Haven't tried my Comstock through a Janglebox, although it does sound great through my Danelectro Cool Cat chorus pedal.... You can hear it in the intro to my song "Song Of My Dreams" in the Rickenbacker Recordings section.... Use the second link in the thread, posted by CJJ--my original link didn't want to load.

Oh never mind, I'll just put the link to the song here!

I run my 730/12 through an acoustic simulator and it sounds just like a 360/12WB.

Really, Paul? Does it also sound like a 330/12, or does the binding on the WB make a difference in the sound?

...and a Rick 12 acoustic would sound like the choirs of cherubim that delivered the first Capri to Mother Earth...

Aaaahhhh, stop that, Paul! I'm craving another acoustic guitar right now, and this isn't helping....

I'm sure a Ric 12-string would be incredible--In fact, I know they are incredible (I've even played yours!), but just can't afford one right now....

I run my 730-12 with a Dean Markley pickup with no effects. I have used a Janglebox on my 360-12 but I don't need it for my 730-12. I am satisfied with the natural sound for what I do.

They're great through a Big Muff.
