I have never seen a Rick with those knobs, so AFAIK, they are not original.
Son of a gun, I think you're right. Everything I find online has the reg'lar ones.

No tele knobs?

Thank you, Brian. They don't really bother me, but they are a little tall.

Silvertops it shall be, then. 8)

Mine has the Kluson double-line tuners with plastic buttons 8)

Got 'em for you next time you stop by. Remind me.

I vote for the R tail piece myself... And a refinish to jet glo and then a swap for White Hardware...

That would be the New Year's Eve version 430. It does sound very pretty. Thanks for sticking up for the "R" but I'm afraid we're outnumbered. However, I agree, in jetglo the "R" would be mandatory. As would double white binding. 8)

Yeah, my vote still goes for the Merle Haggard Rick :)

(I do like the added pickguard, and I prefer the original silver-topped knobs)

I gotta agree. For me, there are very few post-1962 ricks that are truly fit for a honky tonk queen. Let's let this one do the duty. 8)

I like the Bigsby, but then I like all my guitars with a whammy bar...even the 12 strings. :D

I like the jetglo finish idea with double bound edges, but then I suppose that's not all that surprising coming from me.

Predictable response Paul but of course you know you just spoke to my sense of style as well.
