You know, that 381V69 is almost the color of my new 360/12. At least according to the color resolution of my monitor.

other than the COY reasons.....tell me why RIC shouldn't just make that the standard Fireglo?

(that said, this year's FG's have been better the best in decades)

I have a COY AFG 4003 that has a lot more brown around the edges than any of the new FG (or AFG) models I have seen. It's almost like a monty brown meets AFG. Does anyone else have a similarly colored instrument?

Oh, and I'm not complaining, it's pretty darn unique on top of all the other great things these basses are known for! :D
