HA! and again HA!
I've spent since August 12, 2005 at my high school, and on April 29, 2009, I will be DONE. I am exempt from all my exams, and I have passed every class this year. The end of the line is near, and I haven't been more excited about anything (except getting my two 1997's).
I'm done!

Good move, save some money. I made it out of there (watch out, CC can become a black hole that's hard to escape!).
Cool about High school, Jake- well done! Do you guys go to year-round or something? April seems incredibly early to leave for the summer!

Louisiana schools start in August, end in May...Seniors get out May 6, but fortunately, I got out of exams!

I've thought life actually got better after high school. Yeah, there were some low spots but then again, there have been some nice high spots too.
Congrats Jake. Good to hear that you've finished HS and are going on to a higher education.
Any ideas on what you'd like to do later on in life or is that still open for debate?

Congrats Jake! Way to go! And good plan... do college! At least two years (preferably more) that is now what the old high school diploma used to be. The job market really sucks right now. Do the higher education thing. I don't think you will ever regret it. But for now enjoy the summer! You earned it!

I would think "Schools Out" by Alice Cooper would be more appropriate. "Summertime Blues" is more of a mid to end of summer song, as the lyrics reveal.
