King for A Day

Post by vker »

Here is a track from King for A Day's latest - Denver based local band--
apologies to forum member Lyle- as it is also called "Weight of the World."

http://community.2thedeuce.com/_Weight- ... tId=162204

It was recorded at Uneven Studio Denver, and features
a Carl Wilson 360/12
and my 2006 620.
also on the recording are a
Danoelectro "Dano Pro"
and an Ibanez Artcore Hollowbody.

Thanks Mark. The Carl Wilson belongs to my bandmate - Simon, who is playing it.
He may be a forum member also-- so I had better give him credit :P
I have been and will probably remain a six-stringer myself- using lots of octaves.
The song came out nicely, although, unexplicably we felt it lost just a touch of
it's "magic" during recording / production.

Magic gone? -still a nice tune! I'm liking it. The CW sounds nice - rings thru as it should!

This track is simply arpeggiated bliss! Very nice job.
