Audio Interface

I just purchased a new Mac notebook and Logic Express 8. I'm shopping for firewire audio interfaces. Any comments/insights/experiences/reflections/recommendations on what I should go with? 1'm looking in the $300-600 range.

MOTU Ultralite MK3. Small footprint for home studio. Good preamps. Decent oboard effects. Excellent signal routing. (approx $550 US)

I live in the PC world so I can't comment on the drivers for your MAC.
