Belle & Sebastian
Check out the song "Wrapped Up In Books" from Dear Catastrophe Waitress - great 12 string counter melody.

A former girlfriend introduced me to these two. Pretty authentic sounding IMHO; I thought they were from back in the day.

Wiki them - it's a whole band. The name comes from some weird reference.

Another great band from my neck of the woods.

I thought it was two singers, with a backing band, or two singers recording all the instruments in studio. Oops.

This is a great track from these guys (and gals). I have two B & S records and find them to be kind of hit or miss, but this song is outstanding. The Rick 360 sounds and looks wonderful in the video (though I wish we could see it a little bit more).
But does anyone know what that crazy looking guitar the singer has is
