jps,

I forgot to mention: thanks for quoting me all this time:

Jim,

Thanks for the photos. I guess this makes it official. I, too, loved the shot of the postman hauling it up the sidewalk. Classic.

I'm surprised there was no red carpet and brass band waiting for the postman. I dunno, at least a little tape cutting ceremony with the mayor or something ...

Before I get too carried away with gear investments, the very first thing I want to do is to get some sort of home recording studio up and running. I have a backlog of songs that should be put up on my MySpace page. Thanks for all the encouragement, kind words, and well wishes.

JimK
P.S. So I guess it's official now. And the guitar is even listed in the registry with a few choice photos, too.

Your Rick is really a beautiful guitar. If we don't see much of you we know you are catching up with all that playing and recording.

For the moment, I'm really enjoying the twang and jangle of the high gains.

A Fender Princeton Reverb blackface is your best bet at a small 15 watt tube amp...I know you want a Vox AC-15, but they will weigh about as much as a Deluxe Reverb, if not more.

Plus, Tom Petty's guitarist Mike Campbell uses Princetons...does that not say enough? 8)

Nice looking Fireglo on that 360! I guess one of these days I'm just going to have to get a Fireglo. I didn't think I liked it much, but these latest examples are making me think different...

Congrats on the new guitar!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

You know, a McRAC (MidContinent Rickenbacker Appreciation Confluence) might not be such a bad idea. What does it take to put one one? I think I know one watering hole that might do, called the Jack Pot Saloon in downtown Lawrence.
