Neck and bridge - in Series

So are any of you running your 'neck with bridge' in series?

I know with a Tele when you run your neck with the bridge in series you get a fatter louder tone than the standard parallel middle position.
Just wondering if anyone has toyed with this idea on their Rickenbacker?

I could see this possibly being useful for a Lead player using a Rickenbacker -
maybe using a push/pull on the blend to change between series & parallel...

A reversible mod that might be fun to try.
...went in to buy a 52' Tele and walked out with a 360 Jetglo...
